The outdoor private shower surrounded by lush plants created a unique experience, perfect for soaking in the nature around you. The atmosphere felt peaceful and the comfy bed ensured a solid night’s sleep.
I faced some challenges with large ants invading the tent, which turned into an unsettling situation, particularly at night. The access road to the property had numerous potholes and was fairly bumpy, calling for some maintenance. Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent throughout my stay, making it tough to stay connected. Additionally, breakfast options were limited and could use some variety.

Staying at Flor Y Bambu was an unforgettable experience. The Deluxe Double Room provided a cozy retreat with an open-air design. The outdoor shower was a highlight, surrounded by lush tropical plants. Waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys was magical. The breakfast options were delightful, featuring fresh fruits and homemade yogurt, perfect to start the day. The refreshing pool was a great escape after spending time on the beautiful beach nearby, which I reached easily on foot. The gardens offered serenity and privacy, enhancing the overall ambiance. However, my stay was not without issues. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent, and I found sleeping uncomfortable during particularly hot nights. Mosquitoes were a concern, especially in the warmer months, which added some annoyance to my evenings. Nonetheless, the friendly staff truly made this a warm and welcoming place, especially Sophie, who offered great local tips. I would definitely recommend this unique getaway.
